For around fifty years Alice has been a loyal member of the Zurich section of the Freethinkers' Association of Switzerland. In mid-August she celebrated her hundredth birthday in good physical condition. The Zurich board members Thomas Schenker (right in the picture) and Daniel Andres took this celebration as an occasion for a congratulatory visit. The staff of the nursing centre provided a pleasant and friendly atmosphere in the open air, in compliance with the precautionary measures currently in force.

Alice looks back with gratitude and satisfaction on her long life, during which there were also difficult periods. Alice knew how to look at the positive and the future to be able to say now: "I had a good life". In her younger years, she found a stimulating balance to her everyday life in the office through her activities with nature lovers and on journeys, which were very important to her.

Even if today her memory sometimes doesn't work as well as it should, Alice can still enjoy the beautiful weather, flowers and the help of those around her. For the future, we wish the jubilarian continued good health and many cheerful moments.
